Hi I'm Heather Giles, horticulturalist and plant care specialist.

I am passionate about plants and after completing a degree in Horticulture, I started my own business helping people get the most out of their gardens. 

Specialising in plant care of all types I believe that a good garden design incorporates plants as the stars of the garden. Making your garden more bio-diverse has so many benefits including bringing the bees and butterflies in, as well as looking beautiful at the same time.

I try to garden organically as much as I can, as we are all aware this has such a damaging effect on our environment and of course ourselves. I work with nature rather than against it. There are obviously times in which we may need some help with pesticides and herbicides but if there is a way not to use them, that is what I do.  

Planting designs are a way of re-vamping your garden without the need to change the layout or hard landscaping. With the right plants in the right place you can ensure that your garden will develop and grow into a thing of beauty. Whatever site you have, there will be a plant that will thrive there and turn an ugly corner into beauty.
