Consultation

Starting with an initial meeting, we will focus entirely on you and your garden. Discussing your garden dreams, visions, wants and needs, we will take a look at all the different areas of your garden and assess. I will sketch out some preliminary designs and go through budgets, time-frames, practicality and potential issues that may arise.
I will then head back to the office and draw up a design quote that will be tailored to your unique design.

Garden and Site Survey

During the site survey I will visit again with a helper to take measurements and note existing features. This is a crucial step to ensure our design works with your space. For more complex sites, a topographical survey might be needed to accurately map levels and contours. This will take a few hours depending on size.

Concept Design

Once the site survey is complete, I will head back to the office where I will create a bespoke concept garden design for you blending traditional hand drawings with digital touches for clear labeling and visuals. I'll present a tailored design reflecting your style and needs, with hand-drawn layouts, plant choices and features that will transform your outdoor space. After I've walked you through the design, you can change anything that you don't like or want to add and gives us a good chance to hash out ideas and areas. 

Detailed Design Plan

The detailed design plan takes the finalised concept plan and turns it into a build-ready blueprint. You'll get precise layouts, plant schedules, and specs for contractors - everything you need to bring your dream garden to life. 

Implementation and Build

I'll guide you through the process, providing oversight and support. You can either use contractors I recommend or source your own. I will work with them to bring our plans to life. 

Maintenance

After your build has finished and you now have your gorgeous new garden, I'll provide tailored maintenance tips or arrange ongoing care to keep your garden thriving - ensuring it looks stunning for years to come. 

How much does a garden redesign cost?

This question gets asked a lot. Price will vary wildly depending on details, size, spec of materials etc. However, having a beautiful garden is an investment and I am happy to work to any budget that you have. Only once I've understood the scope of the design, I will tender out the design to my contractors and give you a rough price which we can work with to accommodate your budget.

Planting Design

With so many varieties of plants on offer, it can be challenging to find plants that suit your garden that give you the look that you want. A planting design takes into account the garden as a whole and is specific to the soil, site aspect (sun/shade), climate, rain fall and how much maintenance you actually want to do.

Starting with an initial phone conversation to get to know you and your vision for your garden, I will get you booked in for a full consultation meeting where we will have an in-depth look at your garden and what you hope to achieve with it. We will discuss your budget, time scale and eventual maintenance along with the garden composition. 

Planting Design Pack - What you will receive:
  • A fully drawn and detailed planting plan, bespoke to your garden.
  • Full costings including where to source your plants from. I can either source these for you or you can do so yourself.
  • An in-depth care plan of how to look after your new planting arrangement

The plan can either be followed and planted by you, myself and the team, or if you prefer we can do it together with me teaching you how to prep, plant and care for your garden as we go along.
