***Due to the coronavirus and distancing measures, I am offering video call consultations. As we are able to still work outside any garden visits can still go ahead but will be social distanced according to the rules. ***
Whether you are looking for a contemporary garden design, beautiful traditional landscaping, the renewal of a current planting scheme, a child friendly garden as the family grows, or simply a new plan for your school garden, each space in which I work is as unique as the owner to which it belongs. Recognising the importance of getting to know our clients, placing the understanding of their individual needs and aspirations is at the centre of my approach to design.
An initial meeting will explore how you use your garden and get a feel of what style you would like to create. The meeting will enable me to understand any particular requirements you may have along with what you like and don't like. From the meeting I will write a detailed brief of which will be sent to you along with my fee proposal for your approval.
A site survey and analysis is essential to ensure the design is specific to your garden. Any issues within the garden will be recorded and if necessarily a site surveyor will be hired.
Initial design layouts will be produced along with types of material to be used will be presented to you for your thoughts. Any changes are easily made at this stage along with any additional ideas you may have.
Design Proposal, Planting Plans and Construction Plans.
A detailed finished design package will be produced which will include a detailed design plan, a planting plan and a construction plan which will enable your chosen constructor to start building and creating your garden.
Specifications and Tendering
Detailed documents including costings and sourcing materials will be produced to ensure your garden is built on time and to your budget.
