Butterfly house - Full garden design
Working closely with the owner, she knew what she wanted but needed help with getting her vision on paper. Having a new writing room built on her property she wanted a garden that she could easily maintain but with space for her to grow as many plants as she wanted and give her inspiration as she wrote. Working with local contractors we managed to do just that.

Country Garden
The owners had recently moved into their property which boasted 2 very large borders, a kitchen garden and a patio area which was in need of a bit of tender loving care. The borders were largely overgrown and after a lengthy consultation I designed a new perennial planting plan which would not only bring colour throughout the year but would be easy to manage in the coming years.
The Clock House
Plant care and consultation. Working at this beautiful garden nestled in a rural estate was glorious. Tending to vegetables in the Victorian greenhouse along with ancient and rare Apple trees and fruits. Pruning was a delight whilst tending to the gorgeous Roses and Wisteria and various unique plants that were around. Having had established a wildflower meadow 10 years previous, I worked with the local council to identify the species within the meadow and identified areas of improvement.
The Plantwomen's Garden
Garden Advice, Plant Care and Restoration. With such a large garden with 8 very large herbaceous beds and various garden 'rooms', this garden was getting away from the owner. Having had a problem with the invasive weed - Ground Elder - we managed to greatly reduce the growth and started to get on top of it by meticulous removal from all beds and plants. However, it will need to be regularly managed to stop it coming back as vigorously as it was. It was a joy to work in such a beautiful garden.

Farm Cottage Garden
Plant Care and weed removal. Whilst their regular gardener was on maternity leave, I was asked to help with the ground elder and bindweed which had smothered a large bed in the garden, causing plants to suffer. Tackling the weeds meant that plants had to be removed, cleaned and re-planted which although would never be eradicated, did halt it's progress.
The Rose Garden
Consultation and Rose Care - Having an extensive colection of Roses, the owner of this garden needed some advice and pruning undertaken. I only have these two pictures left which is a crying shame as the garden was utterly stunning and planted in the herbaceous style of Gertrude Jekyll.
